Dr. Rod Clarance

Growing up in a suburb of Montreal, Dr. Rod Clarance studied dentistry at McGill university before moving out west. He started this dental practice on Austin and Marmont, in Coquitlam, in 1976.

What has always driven Rod is his passion to help with the oral health of his patients.  He tries quite hard to understand each patient’s story and treat them in a way that suits them best.  His concern extends to the exhaustive job of keeping up with all the changes in equipment and dental procedures, and he feels it pays off in the quality of care he delivers to his patients.

Rod has been married for 26 years and is the father of two children currently attending university.  Whistler is his home but he sleeps in North Vancouver when he works. When not peering into mouths, Rod can be found almost anywhere in the world, observing people and places.
